December 9: Jerome Groopman and Pamela Hartzband on “Your Medical Mind”

By , November 28, 2011

Countway Library of Medicine is pleased to announce the Health Information Lunchtime Lecture Series in Consumer Health.

Our inaugural speakers are Jerome Groopman and Pamela Hartzband, authors of Your Medical Mind. They will speak about their new book, which focuses on the information overload to which today’s consumer is subjected. How can we sort through this maze to make the right medical decisions for ourselves?

Drs. Groopman and Hartzband will be with us Friday, Dec 9 at noon in the Minot Room in the Countway Library, Harvard Medical School. A book signing and light refreshments will follow, with books sold by Harvard Medical Coop.

Please join us at the first of many informative talks to be held throughout the year. All are welcome. No RSVP is required.

For more information, please call 617/432-2147 or write Health_info@hms.harvard.edu.
